');You have ready, willing, and able buyers but most of the properties in your market are selling as short sales, which can take months to process. To help you explore ideas for speeding the process so your clients can get to closing before expiration of the home buyer tax credit, REALTOR® Magazine has brought together a veteran sales associate and a nationally recognized consultant on distressed sales for a free webinar on Thursday, March 25, at 3 p.m. Eastern Time.

The tax credit expires April 30 but buyers who have a purchase in process by that date have until June 30 to get to closing.

Julie Jalone of MagnumOne Realty in Roseville, Calif., and Scott Thompson of ServiceLink and Mortgage Resolution Services will draw on their experience with short sales to suggest tactics that can help move along short sales and other transactions involving distressed properties.

They'll bring ideas and will be able to take a few questions in the hour-long webinar. Some resources for obtaining more information will be provided as well.

Although there's no magic bullet for speeding short sales, the webinar aims to share ideas with which you can help your clients move forward before the clock runs out on the home buyer tax credit
